July Event - AGM and Summer Social

Please join us for the 2013 MIABC AGM and Summer Social, held annually at the Terminal City Club.  This year we will have an open patio (weather permitting) on the 2nd floor.  This event is free to all members, $40 for all non-members and $20 for students, with a maximum of 25 students.  The price includes a BBQ dinner and one free drink ticket.

Topic: Are Planning and Livability in Vancouver Really World Class: Not by a Long Shot


Michael Goldberg, of Vancouver, B.C., is former Chief Academic Officer of Universitas 21 Global, an international network of universities in Europe, North America, South East Asia and Oceania. He is also a Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia's (UBC) Sauder School of Business. Mr. Goldberg, who obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California-Berkeley in 1968, was granted tenure at UBC in 1973. He served as Associate Vice President International as well as H.R. Fullerton Professor of Urban Land Policy from 1997 to 2005. Previously, he was Dean of the Sauder School of Business from 1991 to 1997.
