Jennifer Podmore Russell

Jennifer Podmore Russell is the senior vice president of rennie, a full-service real estate company of 90+ good humans that supports a growing residential brokerage of 170 rennie advisors. Joining rennie in 2017, Jennifer is responsible for forecasting and facilitating company growth, overseeing platform and product development, and ensuring the smooth delivery of services by its advisors and integrated head office teams.
With nearly two decades of real estate experience in strategy and operations, Jennifer previously led the real estate and advisory divisions for one of the big four accounting and consultancy firms, and successfully founded, managed and ultimately sold a real estate software and advisory platform in Western Canada.
Presently serving as an Executive of the Royal Columbian Foundation board, the Chair of the Vancouver Economic Commission, and contributing board member of Arts Umbrella, Jennifer is passionate about impacting the community.
Volodya Gusak is co-founder and President of Denciti Development Corporation, a Vancouver-based real estate development company that creates urban, industrial, commercial, and residential developments. A Chartered Professional Accountant by training, Volodya has over a decade of experience in the financial and development industries and at Denciti, leads a team that uses an intensive creative planning and problem-solving process in the development of properties.
Mike Mackay, President of Strand, is responsible for overseeing Strand’s real estate activities in British Columbia and its development projects in the United States. Mike started Strand’s development platform after having worked for Onni and Dayhu, both local family-owned real estate businesses. Strand has over 2,500 homes in its B.C. pipeline, including 2 million square feet of commercial and industrial floor area. Mike sits on the board of directors of the Urban Development Institute and St. George’s School. Fundamental to Mike's core principles is a conviction that: “To whom much is given, much will be required.” He and his family, including his wife, Sophie, and their two young children, are directly involved in and support many Vancouver-area charities and community organizations, namely: St. Paul's Foundation, BC Centre for Substance Use, The Variety Club, Arts Umbrella, Mission Possible, Music Heals, BC Children’s Hospital, BC Women’s Hospital, and The Salvation Army.

Hugo Vasquez is the President and Director of Development for the MONDEVO Group. Hugo holds a degree in Business (Finance and Marketing) and a Certificate in Urban Studies and Planning from Simon Fraser University, as well as a post-graduate Diploma in Urban Land Economics (DULE) from the University of British Columbia.
Hugo has been actively mentoring UBC students for the Commercial Real Estate Association (NAIOP)’s International Real Estate Competition and has played a critical role in the development of over $500 million in projects throughout Greater Vancouver.
He proudly leads MONDEVO, a fully integrated real estate development company with in-house Development, Sales, Marketing and Construction expertise – with the goal of developing thoughtfully designed projects, which enhance and inspire lives while creating value for homeowners and communities.
