legally speaking section.
Legally Speaking is a yearly report comprised
of an annual review of legal issues, case
law summaries, legislative bills prior to
enactment, new legislation, proposed and new
regulations, practice points and general legal
matters affecting the mortgage lending industry
in British Columbia.
The report is prepared by the MIABC's legal
counsel and delivered at the MIABC's Annual
General Meeting. The report is written in
laymen terms but with an understanding that
its readership will be actively involved in
some component of the mortgage lending industry
in British Columbia.
Written copies of Legally Speaking are disseminated
to conference attendees at the MIABC's Annual
General Meeting. Electronic versions are also
available to all members of the MIABC from
this website by selecting one of the PDF documents
attached.
